The both parks are a birdwatching site to spot some of the Madagascar top list such as Velvet asity, the pittalike groundroller, blue vanga.
– cruising along the pangalane canal, a man mad river succeeded by different lakes where fisherman float by and go about their everyday life, to reach the Palmarium, the nest of dreams, a unique reserve for a great opportunity to photograph various lemurs. 50hectares of peninsula land in the lake of Ampitabe, becomes a natural reserve.
-Sainte Marie island, a paradise island  to enjoy calm, tranquility in its deserted  beautiful  beaches. Located in the Indian ocean, a former pirate’s hideway.  50 km of long, the island can be visited by bike, motor bike or by walk to discover its authenticity.  The main attraction  is the whale watching during the months of June to September, the periode of the migration of humpback whales, coming to breed and calve in warm water.
