
The emerald Sea
The Emerald Sea is located at the entrance of the bay of Diégo Suarez in the extreme north of Madagascar. A site preserved from tourism, it is a vast lagoon characterized by a turquoise hue due to its shallow water depth. It is separated from the Indian Ocean by a coral reef and a string of islets. Snorkeling and relaxation are on the agenda for this day, punctuated by a lunch of local flavors, in the shade of coconut trees. This superb lagoon with its particular green and white sandy beaches that will invite you to dive and swim will leave you with unforgettable memories.
The excursion can be cancelled according to the weather conditions, an alternative will be proposed by your guide
- Boarding for the Emerald Sea From Ramena, you will embark on a traditional wooden hull, to reach the pass of the bay of Diego and sail to the "Emerald Sea".
- Relaxation and snorkeling After sailing in crystal clear waters, you will land on a small beach of golden sand fringed with coconut trees. Equipped with masks and snorkels, you will be able to discover the local aquatic fauna and observe shells and multicolored fish.
- Lunch on the beach You will then rest while your crew prepares a delicious lunch on the beach made of coconut rice and grilled fish, caught during the crossing
- Return to Ramena After the nap, you will go back on the hull which will bring you back to Ramena
